ZERO-WASTE PRODUCTION
Do you ever think about the garment factories' textile leftovers? Or where do all the remaining scraps end up? Guess what, so do we. In the US, only 15% of cuts are recycled out of 14.3 million tons of fabric, according to GreenMatters. Unfortunately, their business model doesn't bear in mind all the water pollution nor carbon emissions produced from incinerating tons of discarded textiles. We started thinking radically about what we leave behind. So, what’s the solution? Well, this was ours.
Recycle - Repurpose - Reuse
At Kalani and Wolf, we've teamed up with Marimole, a woman owned recycling organization that focuses on reducing the environmental impact caused by the garment industry.
After gathering, all of our remnants and repurpose into eye catchy accessories. The remaining cut-offs are turned into new threads! We believe in closing the loop by recycling and upcycling every scrap.

Waste Isn't Waste
Now that you know about our zero-waste production, don't you want to know where we source our deadstock fabric? Our design team sources excess fabric discarded by high-end fashion houses located in the US. We bring to life what once was considered waste without exploitative practices.
As we strive to create small batches timeless pieces, our value will remain true to sustainable practices to honor our Mother Earth.
